Discover the area of Girona by MTB
The tour is based in Girona. You can explore the area by bike during the morning and the afternoons and evenings you can walk through the city to discover the hidden places.
The natural surroundings gives may opportunities, the challenging gradient of many of the hills and a perfect clmate for year round riding.
ITINERARI
Arrival Day: Arrival at Girona city.
Day 1: Loop ride Rocacorba (50 Km / 1.347m+):
We start from the center of Girona, through the Llémana valley, uphill to the Rocacorba mountain. That is a really challenging ascent (970m), from there we have a great down hill, through Mediterranean woods to Girona.
Day 2: Loop ride Els Angels (44 Km / 1.250m+):
Starting from Girona we climb direct to Sanctuary of Els Angels. Salvador Dalí married his wife Gala in their church. From there we will descent to Madremanya a charming medieval village. Pointing north we will turn around the range climbing again to Sant Miquel castle and down to Girona.
Day 3: Loop ride Les Gavarres (45 Km / 798m+)
We start from the center of Girona, through the Sant Daniel valley, uphill to the sanctuary of Els Angels. From here you can enjoy a magnificent 360 grade view about all Girona county, specially the plain of Empordà. From there you will point south to Sant Mateu de Montnegre with it’s romanesche church and then you come back to Girona.
Day 4: Loop ride Vall del Llémena (39 Km / 789m+)
We will exit Girona to the west reaching Sant Gregori. From there we will start climbing on a nice single track, to Les Serres and then down hill back crossing the river Ter to Bescanó and finally to Girona on the Greenway el Carrilet.

Departure from Girona after breakfast or extra night.
