The amazing ghostly geological formations of the Cap de Creus Natural Park build amazing coves and beaches.

Cadaqués and El Port de la Selva stand without discussion at the top of the most charming villages in Catalonia.

More inland, in Garriguella and Peralada, you will walk through vineyards and oliveyards of more than 100 years old.

In Figueres, don’t miss the Dalí museum, one of the most visited museums in Spain.

Trip Itinerary

Cap de Creus is surely one of most beautiful places in Catalonia.

Day 0: Arrival at Roses
In this town you’ll find coves among rocky cliffs, and places of best natural interest. Worth a visit is La Ciutadella, an example of a Renaissance defensive structure on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
Day 1: Circular route Roses (14km 570m+)
Starting from the sea you will climb to the Puig Alt (492m) discovering an amazing megalithic area. Climbing up we will pass by dolmen De la Creu d’en Corbatella (3000-2700 years bC) with some menhirs and a few farther the dolmen of El Cap de l’Home. When you will reach the sommet (Puig Alt) you will enjoy an amazing view of the Roses gulf. Coming down to Roses you will discover a nice quiet valley with terraces and olive groves.
Day 2: Roses- Cadaqués (24 km 945m+)
Today you’ll follow the coastal path, which leads you to discover the roughest part of the Costa Brava, and the most beautiful, for its uniqueness. After the walk, we arrive at Cadaqués, a beautiful white coastal town, surrounded by mountains and was a favorite of both Picasso and Salvador Dalí. This last one, lived and worked in his house in Cadaqués.
Day 3: Circular route Cadaqués (16 Km 532 m+)
Loop ride in the magnificent area of the Cap de Creus, the eastern point off the peninsula with a nice light house. Coming back you will cross an area known as Pla de Tudela and spectacular moon earth with magnificent rock where Dalí used to get inspired, something indescribable.
Day 4: Cadaqués- Port de la Selva (15 Km 658m+)
We’ll leave Cadaqués and we’ll head to the North through the heart of the famous Cap de Creus National Park. You will follow a rural trail with beautiful views of the virgin and wild coves. As a spectacular backdrop, the Pyrenees. You’ll arrive in Port de la Selva, where you can have dinner in some of the lovely restaurants.
Day 5: Port de la Selva- Roses (18 km 842m+)
The trail leads us to the west, and we leave the coast, climbing the mountains towards the magnificent medieval monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes. We start downhill to the sea to arrive at Roses, a fishing and touristic village in front of the sea.
Day 6: Departure
