Touring day trips
CIRCULAR ROUTES IN GIRONA
The first option follows the Greenways towards Cassà de la Selva and coming back to Girona passing by Sant Andreu Salou i Fornells de la Selva. In Quart you can visit the Ceramic Museum.
This route is perfect for families. You will start cycling in the river Llémena valley crossinf the Ter river. Once in Bescanò yiu will follow the Greenways back to Girona.
GREENWAYS OF GIRONA (EL CARRILET)
This route is perfect for families with children and with people who wants to ride in a very relax route. You will start cycling through the Natural Resources in La Garrotxa in the volcanic area . Also, you will cycle or crose the Brugent and Ter River. Passing by the Sant Feliu de Pallerols and la Cellera towns and finally you will arrive in Girona
In this route you will cycle by a cycle path called El Carrilet that was an old railway. During this route you will pass by Cassà de la Selva, Llagostera and during all the journey you will see Les Gavarres. Finally, you will arrive at the coast in a town called Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
Road day trips
CIRCULAR ROUTES IN GIRONA
You will start the route in Girona leaving the city towards Banyoles. Uphill Rocacorba mountain, then downhill to l’Estany de Banyoles, you should cycle around the lake and go back to Girona.
You will leve Girona and follow instructions to Massís de Les Gavarres, then you climb the Sanctuari of Els Àngels, then downhill till La Bisbal d’Empordà and then go back to Girona through the Gavarres massif again.
You will start cycling in a flat area until you arrive in Llagostera. Then uphill to Sant Grau and then downhill with a sea view arriving to Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
You will leave Girona in Vall del Llémena direction, you will pass by a small volcano called Adri then you will cycle to Anglès and then go back to Girona.
